MARION — Police in Marion continue to investigate a weekend bank robbery.
This is just so surreal. I hope they find the douche. That bank is like my second home. I’m pissed. He didn’t earn that money. People work hard hours and hard shifts day in and day out, then you have these assholes that just take the shortcut. And they don’t give a shit about anyone they stomp on in the process. If they don’t find him, I’m going to be incredibly disappointed.
At this rate… it really doesn’t feel like they will. It’s already been too long, he could be anywhere by now.
Our bank got robbed today. It sounds unreal when I put it into words like that. It’s one of those things they always prepare you for, but you know the chances of that happening to you are slim. It was the most horrifying thing I have ever experienced. The robber had a gun, and jumped the teller line.
I was lucky enough to be in the break room when it happened. My other coworker and I were both in there. We heard a commotion and one of the tellers yell “oh my god oh my god”, Brittany ran to the door to see what was going on. Right when she opened it she was abruptly pulled into the teller line. I was left in the break room. It didn’t take me long to realize what was happening. When I did I started having a panic attack. I was so afraid he was going to come back there. I could hear him yell to the other tellers to give him their money and let him into the vault.
No one was hurt. Luckily. It’s definitely a life changing experience.Soooooo yeah, that’s my day. How was yours?!
I highly suggest watching the movie, The Road.
I literally balled for a good ten minutes because of it. And it could very well be that I’m one emotional broad… but it was incredibly touching.
It’s set in a post apocalyptic setting. Where a father and son are constantly on the move to seek shelter and food. They run into scary scenarios with people who are cannibals or who are after their supplies.
The end of the movie is where it got me. It was incredibly touching and heartbreaking. I didn’t expect to cry from this. So good.
